He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Eugene Wilkes and Dequetta Wanzelle Wilkes; his daughter Maci Kay; his significant other Terri Wilkes; his children, Garrett of Burnet, Texas. and Lynzie of Burnet, Texas.; his stepfather Roy Henderson of Burnet; his siblings, Cathy Rhoads (Clyde) of Burnet, Gary Wilkes (Carmen) of Cottonwood Shores, Malcom Wilkes (Sandra) of Zephyr and Jason Fisk (Heather) of Teague; his mother-in-law Sharon Barber of Burnet; and his siblings-in-law, Tracy Barber and Mike Bartoletta of Arlington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Lonnie was a kidney transplant recipient 10 years ago, and he supported causes such as Donate Life and Alport's Syndrome Foundation that were both near and dear to his heart.
