He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alvin Moore and Mary Helen Moore; and his siblings, Lonnie Ray Moore and Janet May Arista. He is survived by: his children, Jack Alvin Moore of Ding Dong, Michael Elbert Moore (Amanda) of Celeste, Texas, Lea Ann Lyday of Palmer and Carie Ann Moore (Josh Bellows) of Dike, Texas; his brothers, Alvin Eugene Moore of Blanco, Kenneth Moore (Linda) of Georgetown and Alan Moore of Burnet; his sister-in-law Audrey Moore of Florence; his sisters, Kerry Rush (James) of Austin, Annette Willis (John) of Temple and Letha Atkison (Greg) of Burnet; his grandchildren, Trey Moore, Jack Alvin Moore Jr., Shyanne Moore, Wyatt Moore, Trevor Moore and Aedan Mikus Lyday; and his great grandchildren, Ayvah Moore and Travis Moore.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
His proudest accomplishment remains his retirement from the U.S. military, a milestone that marked his significant contributions to his country.
