He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold East and Geraldine East (Maddox); his brother Gary East; his nephew Jerry East; and his former wife Janie Gumm East.
He is survived by: his children, Darlena Wills (James) of Jarrell and Eddie East II of Burnet; his wife Robin East of Burnet; his granddaughter Dr. Jennifer Wills of Jarrell; his brothers, Mike East of Liberty Hill and David East of Burnet; and his nieces and nephews, Diana Fisher of Justin, Leslie Leath of Bertram, Melony Schaefer, Jasmine Steele of Liberty Hill, James, Jeff East of Burnet and Jason East of Arkansas. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, cousins, friends.
