It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Fontenot of Burnet, Texas, born in Shelbina, Missouri, who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Richards and Hazel M. Richards (Knapp); her husband Martin C. Fontenot; her son Brian Keith Fontenot; her brother Paul Fontenot; and her sister-in-law Donna Richards.
She is survived by: her sons, Martin Fontenot Jr. of Huntington Beach, CA, Stephen Fontenot of South Dakota, Michael Fontenot of Burnet, TX and Jeffrey Fontenot of Mission Viejo, CA; her sister Rosalee Frisbee (Claude) of Iowa; and her daughter-in-law Louise Fontenot. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In honor of Carolyn, memorials may be made to the Shelby County Senior Center.
