He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amos Pomykal and Pat Rodgers Pomykal; his wife Karen Pomykal of Burlington; his children, Justin Pomykal (Crystal) of Burlington, Clayton Pomykal (Katy) of McGregor and Letha Novosad (Jeff) of Westphalia; his siblings, Roger Pomykal of Burlington, Larry Pomykal of Burlington and Vicki Deshazo of Rosebud; and his grandchildren, Coltin, Amos, Erin, Amber, Orrin, Zoey, Marie and Paydin.
