He was predeceased by: his parents, L. B. Haisler and Bertha Frances Haisler (Vanecek). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Haisler of Burlington, TX; his children, Alan Haisler (Rose) of Franklin, TX, Deborah Schiller (Reuben) of Salado, TX, Dan Vitek (Joanne) of Angola, IN, Cathy Hartley (Rick) of Amarillo, TX, Tom Vitek (Pam) of Salado, TX, Mike Vitek (Dianne) of Keller and Leonard Vitek of Saginaw, TX; and his siblings, Melvin Haisler (Sandra) of Belton and Jeanette Vasek of Temple. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ocker Brethren Church (17454 TX-53, Temple, TX 76501).
