He is survived by: his wife Gayla Suzette DuBose DeForest; his children, Shelley DeForest, Robert DeForest (Lauren), Amber Gordon (Jack), Stephen Stout and Sammie; and his grandchildren, Robert Tatman, Hailey Tatman, Camden Gordon, Maci DeForest, Teagan Stout, Willow Gordon and River Gordon.
