He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jerry and Lydia Ann Machann (Hovorak); his siblings, Frank (Stacy), Johnnie (Sophie), Edward Machan, Alvin Machan, Lydia Machan Campbell (Don) and Lillie Machan Prazak (Steve); and his nephew Glen Machan.
He is survived by: his brother Alton Machan; his sister-in-law Lucille Glenn Machann; his nephew Don Campbell, Jr. (Clinton Machan); his nieces, Nelda Campbell Roscher and Janice Machan Nelson (Fred); his cousins, Josephine Hovorak Sobotik and Lillian Odstrcil Williams; and his friend Milton Kluge. He is also survived by four great nieces and two great nephews.
