He was predeceased by: his parents, Floie Cox (Ehlers) and Robert Ehlers; his wife Anita Ehlers; and his sisters, Ruby Hayman Bluhm, Velma Loften, Opal "Cindy" Curtis and Darlene Curry.
He is survived by: his daughter Sunny; his grandsons, Crawford Starrett, Garrison Starrett and Jenson Starrett; and his son-in-law Patrick Starrett.
