He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Husted and Carrol Roosevelt Husted. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Downing; his children, Carrol (Mike), Ray Jr. (Jennifer), Kathy (Todd) and Karin; his sister Anne of Seattle, Washington; his grandchildren, Tony (Amanda), Jacquelyn, Ellie, Sonja (Anthony), Emily, Mathew, Christopher, Daniel and Simon; and his great grandchildren, Lexi, Aidan, Killian and Amelia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Burleson Adventist School or Wounded Warrior Project.
