He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Dale Burney and Dena Barrington Burney. He is survived by: his wife Kristyne Luster Burney; his children, Elizabeth Marks (Michael Marks) and Nathan Burney (Julie Burney); his siblings, Laura Utz (Roger Utz), Terry Burney, Kim Burney and David Allen Burney (Tammy Burney); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Cagel, Carter Cagel, Adelynn Isbell-Burney, Wyatt Blackstock-Burney, Kegan Blackstock-Burney and Jacqueline Marks; his nieces, Kaitlin Cox, Peyton Burney, Amy Utz and Celeste Burney; his nephew Zack Burney; his sister-in-law Lisa Dodwell (Christy Fletcher); and his mother-in-law Nellice Luster Cosby (Jimmy Fry). He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.
