She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlin Knotts and Lucille Knotts; her husband James W Perkins; her sons, Charles Perkins, James R Perkins and David Perkins; and her siblings, Betty Claxton, Dorothy Perkins and James Roy Knotts.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda (Eddie Short); and her siblings, Joanne Aldridge, Carolyn Claxton of Ennis and Lonnie Knotts of Alvarado. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
