It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Carolyn Woods of Burleson, Texas, born in McKinney, Texas, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Pearl Nichols Dungan and William Taylor Dungan; her siblings, Judy, JoAnn and William (Bill); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Woods and Peggy Woods.

She is survived by: her former husband Jimmy Hoyle Woods; her husband James Wallace 'Buddy Hunt; her daughter Lori Elizabeth (Richard Owen Lind) of Lago; her brother Don Michael 'Mickey Dungan (Dianna); her grandchildren, Kian Barclay Lind (Terra Ann Hicks), Seren Ember Elizabeth Lind, Jacob Scott Woods, Tanner Ray Woods, Ashton Tyler Woods and Riley Parker Woods; her great grandchild Jack Owen Lind; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Woods, JeanAnn Dungan and Robert 'Bob Woods. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

I’ll forever remember and cherish my childhood art lessons with glue and colored macaroni from one of the greatest teachers ever. When Tammy and I married and had children, her love simply multiplied. She will be immeasurably missed.”
