He was predeceased by: his father Lester J. Schwalk; his parents-in-law, Robert Evans and Betty Evans Oliphint; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Strate and Barbara Drescher.
He is survived by: his mother Lucy Schwalk; his wife Emma; his children, Mandy Youngblood (John), Crista Bailey (Joseph) and Brad Schwalk (Kim); his grandchildren, Jacob, Eleanor Youngblood, Luke, Micah, Judah, Gracie Bailey and Anne Schwalk; his siblings, Bob Schwalk, Garry Schwalk (Peggy), Janice Strate and Glynes LaRue (David); and his siblings-in-law, Art Drescher, Bob Evans (Shary) and Ginger Wilson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
