He was predeceased by: his wife Carol McGill Mandrell; and his parents, Dorothy Simmons and Eugene Mandrell. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Mandrell Johnson (Brandt) and Nicole Mandrell; his grandchildren, Joshua Mandrell, Jacob Mandrell, Matthieu Reeves, Bailey Mandrell, Peyton Johnson, Braden Johnson, Madison Johnson, MacKenzie Johnson and Ty Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Reeves, Granddad and Liam Reeves.
Due to floral restrictions at the National Cemetery, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
