It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Henry Grimes of Burleson, Texas, born in Hamlin, Texas, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sis Annie and Elbert Grimes; his wife Billie Grimes; his son-in-law Danny Deel; and his grandson Jake Deel.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Deel, Eddie (Karyn Grimes) and Julie Grimes; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Serrano, Seth Serrano, Hannah Serrano, Jacob Deel, Haeden Grimes, Hadley Grimes, Samuel Deel and Lenni Grimes; his grandchildren, Sarah Harwell and Max Wimberley; his great grandchild Carter Harwell; and his siblings, Dora Ann Gardner, Elbert Grimes and Margie Ikeler.
