She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Kinard and Zethal Kinard (Gibson); her husband Alvon Earl Patterson (Pat); her sister Vernell Robinette; her brother-in-law Carl Robinette; and her granddaughter Angela Rees.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Rees of Burleson, Texas and Tim Patterson (Lanette) of Dripping Springs, Texas; her granddaughters, Kimberly Williams (Steve), Shannon Sosa (Daniel), Vanessa Patterson and Vivien Tooke; and her great grandchildren, Olive Sosa and Ivy Sosa.
