He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dale Dacus and Ester Dacus (Rambo); and his siblings, Vernon Lee and Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Bettie Johnson of Tanglewood, Texas; his sons, Randy Dacus (Mary) of Burleson Texas, Ronald Dacus (Mary) of Granbury Texas and Phillip Dacus (Rebecca) of Meridian, Idaho; his sisters, Edna Earl Wilson of Richland Hills and Ruth Helen Wilson of Sacramento California; his grandchildren, April, Christopher, Cody and Elyssa; and his great grandchildren, Roxy, Riley, Anna Belle and CJ.
He enjoyed, in his retirement years, fixing up bicycles to donate to those in need.
