She was predeceased by: her husband Roberto Lugo; her parents, Blas Garcia and Hortencia Garcia; and her siblings, Benny, Francis and Lupe.

She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Gately (Jeff), Ralph Lugo (Mary), Tito Lugo and Debbie Reyes (Ilario); and her sister Alicia. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
