She was predeceased by: her parents, Juana Chavarria Aleman and Abel Garza Valdez. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Arredondo; her daughters, Claudia Velazquez (Jose Aguilar), Grizelda Perez (Jeremiah), Joselin Ventura (Mario Alberto Valadez, Jr.), Bernice Magana (Christian) and Daniela Arredondo; her siblings, Patricia Ramos (John), Abel Garza (Damaris) and Alejandro Garza (Martha); her grandchildren, Christian Ivan Fernandez, Rogelio David Aguilar, Rebecca Alondra Aguilar, Chloe Carina Perez, Gustavo Amador, III, Giselle Magana, Emily Magana, Valeria Magana and Valadez; and her nieces and nephews, Abel Garza, III, Andres Garza, Alissa Garza, Marcos Garza, Crystal Martinez, Alejandra Ledezma, Alexeia Rodriguez and Johnathan Ledezma.
