It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grace Lillian Behnke of Burleson, Texas, born in Temple, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bruner and Marietta Wilson Bruner; her husband Ernest Behnke (Ernie); and her brother James Bruner. She is survived by: her sons, Bob Behnke (Susan) and Bill Behnke (Merrily); her grandchildren, Rebekah Ellison (David), Benjamin Behnke (Shauney), James Behnke and Markus Behnke; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Emily Ellison, Ethan and Isabelle Behnke. She is also survived by two sons, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID climate, a celebration of Grace's life is tentatively planned for March 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Bethesda Baptist Church in Burleson, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Lottie Moon Mission Offering at Bethesda Baptist Church or Envoy Hospice of Fort Worth, or donate children's book to the elementary school of your choice.
