He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Nanette Neelan (Colorado), Lynne Muhlenbruch (Ron Grimes), Curtis and Amelia Muhlenbruch; his granddaughter Christine Horstmeyer (Michael); his great grandchildren, Zoe and Ellie (Texas); his grandsons, Michael, Jacob and Robbie Fields (Maryland); and his siblings, Delbert (Kathy Muhlenbruch), Shirley (Arnold Klemme), Darwyne (Linda Muhlenbruch) and Neil (Kathie Muhlenbruch).
