She was predeceased by: her parents, Oswald Hengst and Annie Hengst; her daughter Eileen Everitt Crites; her husband Binky; and her siblings, Lawrence, Delbert, Glenn Hengst, Betty Rummel and Vernell Sanders.
She is survived by: her sons, Everett Everitt Jr. (Diane Everitt) and Eugene Everitt (Cathy Everitt); her sister Ruth Cherry of San Antonio, Texas; and her son-in-law David Crites of Paris, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
