She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Beard and Alton Beard; her husband James Scramlin; her siblings, Fay Zesserman and Robert Beard; and her granddaughter Valerie Wiley Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Army Air Corps B, Fay Scramlin of Crowley and Karen Cannon (Jim) of Burleson; and her brother Alton Beard (Donna) of Lanham, MD.. She is also survived by five granddaughters, four grandsons-in-law, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
