With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deenie Duncan of Burleson, Texas, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Deenie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her father Bernard Neal "Papa" Chancellor (Uwna Mahdeen "Deenie" Pate Chancellor). She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Duncan; her children, Michelle Levick and Chad Duncan; her son-in-law Michael Levick; and her great grandchild Emmie Koch.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Burleson (518 SW Johnson Ave, Burleson, TX 76028). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burleson Senior Activity Center (216 SW Johnson Ave, Burleson, TX 76028).
