He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Jarrett and Ada Hopper Jarrett; and his siblings, Harvey, Aaron, Erskine, Henry and Christina.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Loyce Cox; his children, David, Jane Jarrett of Justin, TX, Delores and Gary Taylor of Wylie, TX.; and his grandchildren, Lori Sellers, Jennifer Welday, Jack Jarrett, John Jarrett, Krisinda Lingenfelter, Charity Funk and Sam Taylor. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Hurst Get (1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park (5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Boulevard Baptist Church (Burleson, TX) - Young at Heart.
