He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Jarrett and Ada Hopper Jarrett; and his siblings, Harvey, Aaron, Erskine, Henry and Christina.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Loyce Cox; his children, David, Jane Jarrett of Justin, TX, Delores and Gary Taylor of Wylie, TX.; and his grandchildren, Lori Sellers, Jennifer Welday, Jack Jarrett, John Jarrett, Krisinda Lingenfelter, Charity Funk and Sam Taylor. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Boulevard Baptist Church (Burleson, TX) - Young at Heart.
