He is survived by: his wife Vera Alphin of Burleson; his children, Dennis Alphin and Marsha Richards; his daughter-in-law Michelle Alphin; his siblings, Glenda Paris and Danny Alphin; and his grandchildren, Shonna, Ashley, Brent, Billy and Kayla. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
