He is survived by: his wife Avonda Marie Allen Carr of Fort Worth, TX; his children, Jason Wayne Hightower of Cleburne, TX, Christopher Carey Hightower of Fort Worth, TX and Amanda Hightower Dawson (Shane Dawson) of Fort Worth, TX; his sister Kathy Rush (Fred) of Edmond, OK; his grandchildren, Evrithiki Hightower Bailey, Avonlea Dawson, Aaron Dawson, Carey Dawson and Jaxson Hightower; and his great grandchild Lilliana Dawson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
