It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Jean Skinner of Burleson, Texas, born in Knox City, Texas, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Lowrance and Lena Burleson Roles; her stepfather Buster "Doc" Roles; and her sister Shirley Revert. She is survived by: her husband Marvin L. "Pete" Skinner, Sr.; her children, Sherri Campbell (Jim), Marvin "Boy" Skinner, Jr. (Tina) and James Skinner (Terri); her grandchildren, Chris Campbell, Kymber Campbell, Parker Skinner, Berkley Schuette (Mike), Joey Skinner (Bethany) and Leighanne Skinner; her great grandchildren, Brynlee Schuette and Luke Schuette; and her brother Jerry Holland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033).
