She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Pennington and Georgia Pennington; her former husband Carl Mizell; her husband Frank Hodge; and her brothers, Joe and Nathan.
She is survived by: her children, Carl, Betty, Cindi, Jerry Owen, Jim Mizell, Greg and Kimberly Mizell; her grandchildren, Jennifer Tratree, Kyle, Casey Ballard, Cory, Sarah Mizell and Emily Mizell; and her stepgrandchildren, Jonathan, Allison Owen, Hillary Owen, Jay Alexander and James Ryall. She is also survived by "Gran" to her 15 great-grandchildren.
