It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Rickard (Burleson, Texas), born in Quanah, Texas, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Essary and Anita Essary (Owens); her sister Karen Pinkerton; her niece Monda Schoonover; her nephew Dustin Essary; and her great-nephew Joshua Schoonover.

She is survived by: her husband Charles "Rick" of Crowley; her children, David Hoggard (Candace) of Kopperl, Hope Powell (Bill) and Beth Trotter (David Trotter) of Birch Tree, Missouri; her brother James Essary (Sandy) of Burleson; her grandchildren, Katy, Phil Utz, Clint, Lindsey Hoggard, Krystal Greer and Meaghan Trotter; and her great grandchildren, Skylar Leonard, Reagan Doggett, Khloe Trotter and Levi Utz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
