He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Thorsen and Marion Yakemonis Thorsen; and his brother Roy Thorsen. He is survived by: his close friend Kathleen Johnstone; and his children, Rolanda (Scott Reinman), Amy Thorsen King, Diane (Brandon Edwards) and Joshua (Rachel Thorsen).
