Troy Garland Slayden Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Garland Slayden (Burkburnett, Texas), born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred W. Slayden and Edith Lorena Slayden; his brother Freddy Slayden; his in-laws, Tommy and Mae Roe; his nephew Timothy Coburn; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Coburn and Paul Hubner.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Slayden (Roe); and his children, Cori, Calvin Madewell of Waco, Chi Lynn Vanloh of Buxton, ND, Lori, Tim Hunt of Waco, Angela (AJ), Brad Jenkins of Lubbock, Sarah Slayden of Granbury, Jake and Macey Slayden of Henrietta. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; four brothers; three sisters; four sisters-in-laws; one brother-in-law; and countless nieces and nephews.
