He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy J. McCleskey and Pearlie Mae McCleskey (Childress); and his brother Raynile Mitchell Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathy McCleskey; his sons, Rodney Jr. (Michelle), Matthew (Joy) and Casey (Victoria); his grandchildren, Jakob, Beckett, Raylie, Allie, Cy, Satchel, Tilden and Trudy; his pet Stormy; his sisters, Linda McCleskey, Levita West (Anthony) and Pamela Shipley (David); and his close friend Joe Nichols (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Abundant Life Church (509 Davy Dr, Burkburnett, TX 76354).
