She is survived by: her husband Dan Bales of Burkburnett; her son Rodney Bales (Laurie) of Burkburnett; her brother Carl Newell (Darlene) of Richmond, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Johnathan, Joshua, Danielle, Jordan and Zack. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
