John F. Paulsen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John F. Paulsen of Burkburnett, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tillie Paulsen (Nelson) and Henry Paulsen; his wife Lorraine Paulsen; and his siblings, Delayne Paulsen, LaVerne Thomas (Paulsen) and Betty Woodburn (Paulsen).
He is survived by: his children, Kathy (Rodney Roberts), Karen (Chris Geiger), Ken (Karen Paulsen), Kelly (Burl Gies) and Kristi (Danny Cremeens); his foster son Frank (Diana Hunt); his sister-in-law Maureen Battles; his grandchildren, Heath (Jennifer Roberts), Rachelle (Joey Heenan), Justin (Courtney Roberts), Elaina Henderlite (Lauren), Andy Best (Phillip Pope), Cari (Josh Crumpler), Chris (Katy Paulsen), Burlie Gies (Misty), John Weidemann (Austin), Keyera Gies (Cameron), Heather Cremeens (Caitlyn), Braden Wood (Carson Cremeens), Brittany (Jake Andrajack) and Tyler (Jessica Hunt); his great grandchildren, Ryder, Cash, Hunter, Tayce, Sophie, Reagan, Ashton, Peyton, Pierce, Riley, Harley, Griggs, Cordale, Beck, Lute, Hubb, Campbell, Cooper, Parker, Collin and Eleanor; and his great great grandchild Coen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owens & Brumley Funeral Home (1101 Sheppard Rd, Burkburnett, TX 76354). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
