He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou; and his children, Jim, Jeff and Joni. He is survived by: his children, Jason Smith, Sue, Julia, Jane, John, Michael, Ellie, Anne, Judy and Kevin. He is also survived by forty two grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
