He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Lloyd and Jessie Horton; his wife Helen Joan Horton; and his siblings, Dale, Jerry, Eldon Jr., Phillip, James, Carlie Davis, Carol Wright, Beverly Mcgee, Barbara Horton and Glenda Horton.
He is survived by: his children, David Horton (Cathy) of Monahans, Dennis Horton (Latonia) of Leesburg, TX and Keri Caldwell of Monahans, Texas; his grandchildren, Mitchell Horton of Midland, Logan Horton of Monahans, Braden Caldwell of Monahans, Texas and Kaylee Horton of Odessa, Texas; and his brother Wayne Horton of Wichita Falls, Texas..
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery (400 S Helen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756).
In lieu of flowers, the family request any donations be made to First Baptist Church of Monahans or Home Hospice of Andrews.
