It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Peter Grunenwald (Burkburnett, Texas), born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on January 8, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Grunenwald, II and Frances Flowers Grunenwald; and his wife Kay Grunenwald. He is survived by: his daughter Celia Palmer (David) of Burkburnett; his brothers, John Grunenwald of El Paso, Frank Gille of Ashokan and Donald Gille of Ashokan; and his grandchildren, Justin Burnett, Amy Burnett, Katie Pelto, Matthew Burnett, Brianne Barrios and Janie Burnett. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and eight step-great grandchildren.
