It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis Tyson of Burkburnett, Texas, born in Hornell, New York, who passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis John Tyson and Bernice Katheryn Williams Tyson; his daughters, Marjorie Louise Tyson and Kathleen Marie Tyson; and his siblings, Clare Brownell, Richard Tyson and Joseph Tyson.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Maria Tyson of Burkburnett; his son James Francis Tyson (Christina) of Wichita Falls; his grandson James C. Tyson (Heather) of Wichita Falls; and his great grandchildren, Chloe and Shelby Tyson of Wichita Falls. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in honor of Francis to a local DAV.
