Diane left this world on November 10, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Bessette and Diana Bessette; her husband Hansel W. Piper Sr.; her sister-in-law Jeanne Bessette; her brother Robert Bessette; and her sister-in-law Lynn Bessette.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Roberts of Burkburnett, Hansel W. Piper Jr. (Nancy Morse) of Walters, OK and Karen Piper of Burkburnett; her grandchildren, Chuck Overby, Marie Campbell (Ellis), Whitney Mann, Ashleigh Martin (Robin), R. J. Vinson (Carrie), April Vinson and Amber Shown; and her great grandchildren, Kaisley Martin, Addy Mann, Luca, Tucker Peddicord, Keegan McCarthy and Oryn Thomas.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burkburnett Owens & Brumley Funeral Home (1101 Sheppard Rd, Burkburnett, TX 76354). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Red River Cowboy Church (121 N Ave E, Burkburnett, TX 76354). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery (920 Bishop Rd, Burkburnett, TX 76354).
