He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Salyer and Mary Salyer; and his brother Scott Salyer. He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Scott Salyer (Vickie) of El Paso, Jack Salyer (Rhonda) of Burkburnett, Robert Doten (Ruth) of Denton and Terri Kennedy (Dave) of Burkburnett; his grandchildren, Misty, Jay, Michael, Rachel, Cynthia, Stephani and Mary; and his sisters, Thelma "Pete" Wimmer of Blue Field and Beatrice Gilley of Brandon, Florida.. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made in Curtis's name to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
