He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Blanton and Maranna Blanton. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Russell Blanton of Burkburnett; his children, Kim Ferguson (Mike) of Dallas and Rusty Blanton (Jamie) of Burkburnett; his grandchildren, Ashlee Carlson (Jeffrey) of Dallas, Camille Blanton of Austin and Cayden Charles Blanton of Burkburnett; his siblings, Bettye Pinkerton of Winters, TX and Dan Blanton (Trini) of Mansfield, TX; and his uncle Sonny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
