We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 79, Aubrey James Mays Jr. of Burkburnett, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey James Sr. and Thelma Adaline Mays (Whitley). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Mays of Burkburnett; his sons, Jason Mays (Shalae) of Pell City and Trent Mays (Amy) of Wichita Falls; his sister Fran Dodson (Joe) of Burkburnett; his grandchildren, Brittany Anibal (Ben) of New Hampshire, Blane Mays (Maggie) of Alabama, Austin Mays of Alabama, Davis Mays of Wichita Falls, Kyler Mays of Alabama and Hannah Mays of Wichita Falls; and his great grandchildren, Max Mays, Emmie Anibal, Grady Anibal and Brayden Anibal.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home (1101 Sheppard Rd, Burkburnett, TX 76354).
