He was predeceased by: his father Wallace E. Dowden, Sr.; and his brother Cliff Dowden. He is survived by: his children, Aaron Dowden of Buna, Walinda Neel (Jason), Ray Tatum (Monty) and Eric Tatum (Kelly); his mother Ruthie Dowden of Baton Rouge; his sister Linda Dowden of Lafayette; and his partner Lyn McCollough. He is also survived by grandkids and great grandkids.
