He was predeceased by: his parents, Morad Cravey and Rannie (Cunnigham); his brother Ed Cravey, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Holly Pate and Joshua Pate.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Cravey of Buna; his children, Darlene Reed, Jeff of Orange, Janice Pate, Buddy of Kirbyville, Sheri Westbrook and Terry of Kirbyville; his siblings, Arthur Cravey of Buna and Bentie Houck of Brownwood; and his grandchildren, Crystal Crosby, Jason Mitchell, Tiffany of Washington, Brandy Seals, Kaitlynn Joiner, Cody Pate and Michael Sonnier. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
