It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Stephen Sumrall (Buna, Texas), who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joe Stephen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joe Stephen farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parent Cassie Sumrall. He is survived by: his father Charles Sumrall of Buna; his sons, Joseph David Sumrall of Lufkin, Jakob Stephen Sumrall of Buna and Kolby Dean Sumrall of Buna; his brother Bill Sumrall (Peggy) of Buna; and his granddaughter Evelyn Kate Sumrall.
A reception will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (33814 US-96, Buna, TX 77612).
