She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Young and Leta Young; her husband Wendell Widener; her daughter Sharon Lambert; her grandchildren, Jeremy Widener and Beronica Widener; her brother Darrell Young; and her nephew Kenneth Beggs.

She is survived by: her children, Eddie Widener of Silsbee, Kara Harris (Leslie), Kim Frick (Gary) and Scott Widener (Shirley); her siblings, Gary Young (Helena) and Judy Wagner of Council Bluffs; and her grandchildren, April, Shauna, Brandon, Tyler, Stacey of Nikki, A. J., Chris, Tiffany, Selena, Angela, Patrick and Amanda. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.
