He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Lelia LaRive King and Gilbert Bee King. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Cecil Payton, Sr.; his sister Diana Payton of Buna; his nieces and nephews, Cheri Coudrian of Silsbee, Cecil Samuel Payton, Jr. of Buna and Andrea Nicole Payton-Rife of Buna; his great-nephews, Dustin Rife (Cassie) and Joshua McCollough; and his great-niece Tara Ellis (Josh).
