She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Edward and Mertie Estelle Cathey; her husband Jacob Bryant Wheeler; her son Jerry Kennith Wheeler; her close friend Roy Woods; her daughter-in-law Mae Beth Wheeler; her great grandchildren, Chance and Jacob Wheeler; and her siblings, Eloise Harold of Glenn Cathey, R. H, Roy Cathey and Robbie Cathey.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy, Joel Wheeler (Carolyn), Larry Wheeler (Patsye) and Charles Wheeler; her grandchildren, Chad Wheeler (Davonna), Courtney Wheeler (Daphne), Amy Zeismer (Bill), Steven Wheeler (Dana), Robin Martinek (Dustin), Jeani LeBlanc (Luke), Kathryn LeBlanc (Jerome), Wayne Wheeler (Leah), David Wheeler, Maggie Wheeler, Jon Wheeler and Jake Wheeler (Taylor); her siblings, Opal Haynes, Shirley Hough, Bobbie Cathey and Bertha Lee Rasbeary; her grandson Dusty Wheeler; and her caregivers, Mandi Ellington, Becky Williams and Annie Isom. She is also survived by 30 great grand children and 23 great, great grandchildren.
